KSP 1.0 Careermode: Day 1 to Day 3

Right when I decided to document my Karbonite experience here, word came of the upcomming release of KSP 1.0. I therefor decided to hold my 0.90 Karbonite game and focus on 1.0.

I have been playing KSP 1.0 for a few days now and boy what a change it is. I had to relearn Jeb all that he knew about ascends and a large number of near-misses followed. Thankfully and most uncommon for Kerbals, nobody got hurt. All my Kerbals have survived the first 3 Kerbal days in the new game.

I am now at the point where putting a rocket in space has once more become routine. The first four crewmembers all made it to orbit at least once and Jeb has even taken a tourist on a suborbital trip. Gotta earn some cash...

...offcourse Jeb got him home safely and made a nice profit as well.

With the science I unlocked so far, I'm still lacking the equipment to plan a trip to Mun or Minmus. Seems I will have to visit some biomes on Kerbin that have not been visited yet and maybe get a few contracts completed. That will be my focus for the next few days. After that, Jeb has made it very clear he wants to go to Mun. I don't think I can get that idea out of his green head. I better make sure he will have the right equipment to come back alive...

A Kerbal site launch

I've been neglecting this blog in a terrible way. You could say it needs more boosters and that's just what I am about to give it.

I have not been playing KSP for a little while, since I was too busy building cities in Cities: Skyline. I recently started a new 0.90 game however, using the Karbonite mod. I will show the first results here soon.

In the meantime we are all waiting for KSP 1.0 to hit the launchpad. I certainly am. Hopefully that will be as good as I expect it to be. I will keep my 0.90 Karbonite install next to 1.0 and report on the progress of both games on this blog.

See you soon!
